Expression of Interest for Trainers and Training Institutions – Our Rights, Our Future!

Our Rights, Our Future! is a project co-funded by the European Union and led by a consortium of civil society organizations with extensive experience in human rights and civic engagement: ForumCiv, COSPE, and Centre for Political and Civil Rights. It aims at strengthening civil society capacities and opportunities to participate safely and effectively in civic and political spaces, with a focus on youth-led and youth-focused and human rights advocacy in contexts of repression and democratic constraints to defend the right to association and peaceful assembly.

Among the main objectives, the project intends to reinforce the capacities of 600 young activists, with priority to young women and youth of marginalized and underrepresented groups, to promote their leadership and safe activism in four regions of the global South (Southeast Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, MENA, Latin America).
The project consortium is looking for senior trainers (individuals or members of institutions/civil society organisations) to co-design and delivery the learning sessions and follow-up mentoring (synchronous/asynchronous, remotely through an e-learning platform) in different working languages with strong participatory approach.

The OROF capacity building program focuses mainly on Organizational Development and Safety and Security for members of individual organisations and Monitoring of HRs violations and international mechanisms for national networks. It will take place in between June/July 2025 and March 2026 with follow-up mentoring sessions in the following 6 months.
